Mrs. Laura Hall, 78, a resident of Nashua and Charles City most of her life, died at the Eastern Star Home in Boone Tuesday, Dec. 2, 1952 following an illness of five weeks due to a stroke.

She was born at Emmetsburg, Iowa Aug. 30, 1874, daughter of John E. and Roxie (Horton) Hammond.

Laura married George Hall. She came to Nashua in 1893.

She is survived by two sons: Clyde of Chicago and Harlan of Minneapolis.

Chenoweth & Sons Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements. Burial will be in Oak Hill Cemetery.
